We work with our suppliers to buy from Vancouver Island, BC & Canadian farmers.

Our goal is to create farming cooperatives with the places the peppers are grown and with local BC farms for the veggies and fruit that can be sourced and grown closer to home.

How are the sauces and salts made?
This is a cooked sauce that is pureed, strained and bottled. 

The pulp is the dehydrated for 24 - 36hrs, ground into a powder and blended with the gorgeous Vancouver Island Sea Salt. 

How long will the sauces keep?
Unopened, the bottled sauce will keep for two-years on the shelf.  Refrigerate after opening until you finish the bottle or your fridge breaks down. 

Remember to 'size-down' the bottle after you've used half of the sauce to prevent mold developing on the inside of the bottle.

How long does my sauce take to ship?
We ship online orders twice per week on Mondays and Thursdays. Once shipped, orders on the Canadian West Coast should arrive within 3 to 4 days. Orders outside of B.C will be 7 to 10 days.

What if my sauce shows up broken/damaged?

What kind of allergies conflict with Tofino Hot sauce?

Sauces contain nightshades and alliums. They are guten-free and vegan.
